I’m back, it has been a few Mondays since my last post, but lightning struck our home and we lost pretty much everything. Including our fast speed internet and the worst loss, besides internet, phone and electric, was my limited edition, red sphere TV, from Target.

Boy am I going to miss it. I can’t seem to throw it out either. I guess i’m hoping I can bring it to a repair shop and they will be able to fix it. Am I dreaming or do you think it is possible?
Now that i’m back online and caught up with the business, I will have some free time to work on that networking list. So i’ll see ya in a bit!

Since the move, almost one year ago, I have been without internet connection. Well, you may as well say without because what we had, you couldn’t even connect with the world. My old ISP, I like to call frustrationdotnet, gave us speeds of up to 12k and lots of down time.  Pretty much all I could do was check email, and that would take 10 minutes. There were lots of days with panic, not being able to print shipping labels or email customers for my business. When I could print labels it would take 30 minutes to print one label from Paypal. So basically task that used to take 1 minute were taking too long and taking over my life. I even added up a few statistics one day while waiting for the page to load. I figured out, that out  of 5 hours a day of being online with frustrationdotnet service, that in one year, I would have wasted one and a half months of my life. Now add that with the months of life we spend sitting at traffic lights each year and it gets pretty scary. It was overwhelming and it is gone now! I am so grateful to have fast speed!
Now that I am back, I am in full swing working on getting new products and information listed on my business blog over at Fruitflypie.com and working on reviewing some seriously cute handmade items, over at my other blog Makeitcute.com. I am double posting this on both blogs in-case you would like to read the other blog too.Â
Okay, i’m off to plunge into the world of networking again. I would love to see you all there. So I will be compiling a list of all the places I use to network and share them with you on Monday.

I especially love the one below, she used one of my favorite color combinations of all time, pink and orange. Using a pink sewing machine on a bright orange colored background with pink scissors. This would look incredible in any craft room. This light switch cover and many more are available in her Etsy shop Julietew.
